About Me

I’m an oil painter inspired by nature, animals, and the quiet moments that often go unnoticed. My work blends realism with emotion, focusing on uplifting beauty through intentional color choices and the way light transforms a scene.

I’ve loved making things for as long as I can remember. Growing up, both of my grandmothers’ homes were places filled with warmth and creativity. I spent time creating alongside them, learning to value patience, care, and the joy of making something with my hands. Those early experiences shaped the way I approach art today—the process is just as meaningful to me as the finished piece.

I went on to study art and received my BA in Art History and Fine Art from Kent State University. My education deepened my appreciation for timeless craftsmanship and strengthened my foundation in both technical skill and visual storytelling.

Nature and animals are my biggest inspirations. They represent comfort, grounding, and connection in my life and in my work. I aim to create pieces that not only add beauty to your space but also bring you joy and happy memories. Creating timeless art is not just what I do—it’s what I love.

Color and light are central to my paintings. I’m drawn to the way light can soften, glow, and completely shift the mood of a subject. While my work is rooted in realism, I often incorporate unique or unexpected color combinations to enhance emotion and create warmth and calm. I build each piece slowly in layers of oil paint, allowing depth and richness to develop over time.

Outside of the studio, I find inspiration in time spent with my pets and family. I value a slower, more intentional way of living, and that mindset carries into everything I create.
